Your local, family-owned custom cabinetry company

Desert Forge Cabinets is a custom cabinet maker based in Maricopa, AZ, serving Chandler, Gilbert, Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Mesa and Phoenix. Peter Beck founded Desert Forge Cabinets in 2020, after 20 years in the trade. The shop is family owned and run out of Maricopa.

Peter started the shop on a simple idea. Real custom cabinetry should come from true craftsmanship, not a factory line. A lot of cabinets sold as custom are just stock boxes resized to fit a space. Desert Forge Cabinets works the opposite way. Every kitchen, closet and built-in piece is built by hand for the exact room it will sit in. Each one is made to last, not mass produced.

Communication matters just as much to Peter as the woodworking itself. He believes a good cabinet project depends on clear back and forth with the client, not just good joinery. So he talks through your ideas before any wood is cut. He checks in as the design comes together. He keeps you posted while the piece moves through the shop, so the finished cabinets match the picture in your head.

A project with Desert Forge Cabinets starts with a quote request describing what you want built. Next comes an in-person estimate at your home, where Peter looks at the space and talks through wood, finish and layout options with you. Once you approve the plan, the shop builds the piece by hand and installs it.

Desert Forge Cabinets offers a free estimate for every project, with no obligation to move forward, and references from past clients are available on request. Every job comes with a 100% satisfaction guarantee. Whether you need a full kitchen, a closet system or a single built-in piece, Peter brings the same hands-on approach to every home across Maricopa and the Phoenix area.
